How to solve a Megaminx cube.

There are many approaches to solving a Rubik’s cube. These methods have different levels of difficulties. A Rubik’s cubes can’t be solved in a blink of an eye, it takes a while to figure out how to solve a Rubik’s cube . The inventor of the Rubik’s cube, Erno Rubik took one month to solve a Rubik’s cube. Today we are going to show you one of the easiest ways to solve a Megaminx cube.

Stage 1 – Solving the edge pieces.


There is no specific algorithm for this step so you have to do this yourself.


Stage 2 – Solving the corner pieces.



Find the respective corner piece and rotate it to the grey position.


Repeat the given algorithm until it’s the same as illustrated on the right. Repeat this step for all the corner pieces.



Stage 3: Solve the edge pieces.

Continue this step for all 6 sides.


Stage 4: Solving the corner pieces.


You have to flip you cube to achieve the goal.

Stage 5: Solve the edge pieces.


In this step you have to the two edge pieces on all the faces.

Continue this step for all 6 sides.


Stage 6: Solve the corner pieces.

Find a pink-red corner piece and rotate it to the grey piece. Repeat the algorithm until it is same as illustrated on the right.


Continue this step for all pieces.


Stage 7: Solve the edge pieces.


In this step you have to solve the five edge pieces.

Stage 8: Solve the 5-pointed star


In this step you have to solve the five edge pieces.

Stage 9: Orient the edges of the stars.


In this step you have to solve the five edge pieces.

Stage 10: Solve the grey face on the top.


In this step you have to turn the unsolved corner to the black position below.

Do the algorithm:



Repeat this step until the grey side of the piece is on the top. The cube will get jumbled. Don’t worry! Turn the top layer to the right or to the left to get another piece in which the grey side of the piece is not facing the top. You might need to move the top layer once, twice or trice to get the goal. Do this for all the pieces and in the end your cube will be solved.
